About FortLocks combination padlocks
The Combination Padlock keeps its four dials along one side of the body. It is slim, it fits a hand, and it slips through a small hasp or a zipper pull on a sports bag.
It opens on 0-0-0-0 when it is new. To set your own code, you open it, turn the shackle a quarter turn, push it down, roll in your digits and turn it back. Our how-to page walks through all six steps.
The shackle is 0.2 in (0.5 cm) thick with 1.3 in (3.3 cm) of clearance and 0.85 in (2.15 cm) across. That is a locker and luggage size. A thick gate hasp needs a bigger lock.

Is this the same lock in every color?
Yes. Orange, black and silver share the same body, shackle and reset steps. Only the finish changes.
Does it fit a school locker?
Yes for most school and gym lockers: the shackle is 0.2 in (0.5 cm) thick and opens 0.85 in (2.15 cm) wide. Some school lockers have a built-in lock and need no padlock at all.
